Recently, News12 NJ visited the Club and did several live broadcasts from the layout areas.  The broadcast was captured and is available here for your viewing pleasure.  The file is large (19+ MB) and runs for approximately 7 1/2 minutes.  It is in Windows .wmv format only.

Also, Chris Chianelli of the DIY Network paid us a visit and included footage of the layout and of our former President, Ray Russell, in one of their episodes.  Information on the Ultimate Digital Train Set show is available at their website.  Railroads are a popular topic with many shows in their collection.  When last we checked there were roughly 60 episodes with the topic Railroad.

Chris Chianelli and his guests explain the benefits of the latest technological breakthrough for model railroading called Digital Command Control. DCC allows multiple locomotives to run simultaneously on the same section of track, and each one can be independently controlled. Chris and his guests also demonstrate how to get started in HO scale model railroading by demonstrating how to set up a beginner's layout.
